This extension in the leafy suburbs of South Belfast involved the expansion of the kitchen area to introduce a larger open plan kitchen/ dinning/ snug area with extensive glazing, so our clients could better enjoy the garden. Our client in common with many clients, deemed the kitchen to be the heart of the house, yet it was disconnected from the surrounding landscape.

We extended the kitchen to match the character of the house with the introduction of a large vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling glazing, to create a dramatic alteration to the internal of the house whilst facilitating views into the surrounding tree canopy.
